We’re transforming First Street Market into an immersive ambient tea lounge on Saturday nights, starting October 25th. Each event is a unique blend of performance and presence — featuring a rotating lineup of live musicians, DJs, and visual artists, handcrafted teas from Virgo’s Room (included with your ticket!), and gentle activities that support your flow between solo reflection and social connection, as it suits your intentions for the evening.

Steep’d offers a meditative and magical space for those looking to:

  • Enjoy a meaningful night out with loved ones & new connections

  • Spend time journaling, reading, studying, or working on a creative project while still getting out of the house

  • Meet new people in an easy-going environment designed to foster conversation and connection

  • Experience a softer, more intentional alternative to nightlife

There is a strict arrival window between 7:00 and 7:30 PM, so we can collectively open and settle into the space. The evening concludes at 10:00 PM, but guests are welcome to transition out prior, should they wish. 

This is an 18+ event.

Steep’d: November 8th, 2025

Composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Samuel Viscosi will perform a meditative piece before being joined by saxophonist Lone Sole for a special live improvisational set, with DJ duo u_N/A_me and 2h1 joining us from Portland to hold down the vibes as we open and close the night.

 We’re grateful to have CoZy and NXOR sculpting the sonic space this holiday weekend for those looking to spend time with loved ones, take a little break from it all, or connect with new community while away from home.

Between Victoria Wamples’ hypnotic vocals, loops, and layers, and Northeastern University music production professor Doug Bielmeier’s masterful soundscapes, we're guaranteed a lush exploration of time, texture, space, and sound. 

Steep’d: December 13th, 2025

Worcester’s Nick Pagan sets the tone with shimmering synths and layered tape textures before trio b.mez (Michael Bierylo, Ken Field, and Rick Scott) perform a special set preceeding their debut album, out in February '26. 

Steep’d: December 20th, 2025 (Winter Solstice Celebration)

For the Winter Solstice, we'll bathe in orchastral ambient “poetry” (as described by the Paris Move) by Dickson & Familiar (Bob Familiar & Glen Dickson).

Our prices reflect the number of artists, production costs, and inclusive tea service that go into each event, while maintaining an intimate setting. We aim to stay comparable to a night out at a concert with a drink or two — just without the additional transactions on site (& with extra immersive elements!).  

To keep events accessible, we offer a self-selected sliding scale, inviting guests to choose the rate that best fits their financial situation. Those with the means are encouraged to select the supporter rate, which helps others in the community attend. We also welcome volunteer exchanges for those who’d like to support and attend in other ways.
